Thank you BAART for taking my concerns seriously. After making my complaint, I was flagged by the new director who is a very sweet woman by the way and she promised to have me set up with the *actual* doctor there. The man I was complaining about was NOT the doctor. I guess he was a "PA" ? And nobody is really sure why he told me that my request was something BAART couldn't offer me, but I *have* been promised that I could meet with the actual doctor and have the test I requested performed. Perhaps the original "PA" was just uninformed? Either way. My concern was addressed and taken care of and I want to thank whomever forwarded my complaint from Texas to BAART here in San Francisco because it corrected the issue almost immediately. First time in my life I think I've ever had a legitimate complaint in my life and actually had the company take responsibility and address the issue. I think that's about the most you could ask for in a company. Thank you BAART. (And again, I'd like to take the time to especially thank Jeff Becker, Tess; the new director... she's very sweet 😀. And all the girls at the front desk and the nurses. And Christine Wright at the BAART Turk facility on Turk St too. SHE'S ESPECIALLY AWESOME BUT KINDA AT A DIFFERENT BAART A FEW BLOCKS AWAY) Thank you!
Been here 7 months had 2 counselors both I would give about 4.8 of 5 stars which is about A- still very good and nice. The front desk is very friendly and helpful. Nursing and Doctor also speedy efficient but detalied and knowledgeable. Front desk staff gets 4.8 of 5 or A- Doctor and nursing needs to take 10 extra minutes so they miss nothing! They get 4.4 of 5 stars or B+.....still way above avg for the Bay area and ten times better than Turk St or Ward 93 at General Hosp.
Clinic opens at 6:30 a.m on week days. Clinic staff is quick and helpful. Expect to spend no more than ten minutes in the facility unless you are seeing your counselor once every two weeks.
I have mixed feelings about this particular clinic thus far. The front desk staff is great as well as my current counselor, Jeff. However, my previous counselor, Rheba, was a nightmare. I have never had anyone in a professional setting - especially someone whom I am paying for their services - berate me, disrespect me and just generally have such a negative influence on my life in such a short amount of time. I'm not sure where they found this lady at, but I don't imagine her lasting too long as I'm sure her track record speaks volumes.
They have GREAT Methadone!!!
Great program, and wonderful staff
Medication Assisted Treatment with UA testing and counseling gave me the relief, breathing space and knowledge I so desperately needed to begin my recovery. Your help at BAART helped me break bad habits and replace them with the spiritual development i thought was gone. Even when i relapsed you went above and beyond the call of duty to literally save my life and lovingly bring me back to my senses; by getting my attention and giving me simple instructions to follow up out of my downward spiral. I continue to be committed to my recovery because i can face and participate in my own life as well as others. I am now able to help myself and others, where in the past i hurt myself and others. Although some of my greatest challenges have come during recovery, i can now clear away wreckage and rebuild my life. Thank you for your continuing help and support.
In the many arrangements of our alphabets, words cannot be found in Webster’s to express. . . “What the BAART Clinic means to me.” In today’s time, water has brought great tribulation . . . from Tsunami to Katrina and the most current Dean hurricane. Nevertheless . . . man has been able to overcome many tribulations that can come from water by way of bridges. Like a bridge over troubled waters, “The BAART Clinic” has allowed me to cross over the dangers of my troubled waters (drugs). BAART has directed me to move from the land of no purpose . . . to a new land of great . . . hope. Without “The BAART Clinic”, I’d be like a person trying to go from one land to another . . . without the assistance of a bridge. Thank you.
